What Type of Problem Is It?

My kitchen sink is leaking from the spout. 💦

Now, there are generally two types of problems in life:

➡️ The kind that go away if you ignore them.

➡️ The kind that get worse if you ignore them.

Naturally, I tried to approach my sink as a #1 problem for a couple of days (as one does).

Spoiler alert: it’s very much a #2 problem.

This little incident got me thinking…

How often do we treat #2 problems like they’re #1? Hoping they’ll magically resolve while quietly spiraling out of control? 🌪️

Whether it’s a leaky sink, a project you’ve been procrastinating on, or that nagging feeling you’re not doing the thing you know you need to do…

Ignoring it rarely makes it better.

Anyway, I’m proud to say I made a call about my sink. 🏅
